Wagrain in the heart of Salzburg’s Sportwelt Ski Amadé in the Salzburger Land offers the perfect setting for a memorable holiday in the snow for the whole family with an unbelievable 865 km of ski tracks and 276 ski lifts in the Ski Amadé skiing region. The modern lifts here set the highest standards when it comes to quality and service.
There is also a wide range of rent-a-ski facilities and ski schools as well as floodlight-lit ski runs in the neighbouring village of Flachau, a snowboard park, free riding and half pipes for your enjoyment on the piste. Wagrain is connected with the neighbouring villages of Flachau and Sankt Johann im Pangau by means of a ski lift.
Cross-country skiing
There is a cross-country ski track only 150 m from our apartments which allows you to immerse yourself in Wagrain’s stunning winter wonderland. The 23.4 km track network offers the perfect conditions for beginners as well as advanced skiers.
Wagrain Amadé Water World
The Amadé Water World in Wagrain in the Salzburger Land is a great recreational tip for the whole family. Why not relax in the indoor pool in Wagrain after a great day spent skiing. The extensive wellness area is a welcome luxury for adults whilst kids will love the fast and extra-long water slides!
Other activities
Horse-drawn sleigh rides and long walks at the ideal altitude of around 1,000 metres add a touch of romance to the winter. Go on a snow shoe hike for a great insight into the unspoilt nature of the Salzburger Land.
For action-seekers, tobogganing is the perfect winter activity on the mountains and the rustic alm huts in the region invite you to stop off and warm up.
